Welcome to our movement. Youth-focused, people-powered.
Enough is enough. We’re changing the tide and rising up to fight for our future.
Our Chapters
From community cleanups to community organizing, our chapters work on the front lines to mobilize young people towards a greener tomorrow. YCAN creates the infrastructure needed to unify large numbers of students and allies towards a common cause – urgent climate action.
Our Priorities
At YCAN, we have two focuses:
a) Almost every high school and college has some variation of an environmental club. How do we unify these groups towards collective action? Without working together, isolated groups can only do so much.
b) Sometimes raising awareness isn’t enough. How do we make sure that our advocacy is translating into actual change? We’re conscious about this, and create organizing plans with the aim of creating real change, not talk.
